Yoga is more than this physical practice it hits us at all levels of our lives and make us fully prepared to navigate all aspects of life. If anything it takes us deeper into our lives, consciously connecting us more to everything including the tough and difficult areas, it creates for us a supportive structure for generating an ease and steadfastness even within those very areas of life. Ultimately, giving right back to us an enhancement in daily living through regular practice.
It's more than just a fitness regimen as it shifts us and our whole experience of embodiment. With the changing of seasons from summer to fall everyone is adjusting to a new schedule and rhythm. Yoga can stabilize us as we adjust to changes. My favorite as of lately is pranayama 'breath work' for moving and transforming stagnant energy or mental limitations or feelings of blocks immediately back into empowered well-being and vibrancy.
So we've been breathing more than ever in class to shift the intellectual, emotional and physical body back into it's own natural and ease-full state of wellness. Come join us and keep your practice regular. The fun is only starting!
